This piece is meticulously handwoven by skilled tribal women weavers living in the Himalayan foothills of Nagaland, using a traditional backstrap or "loin" loom and high-quality cotton yarn.

The motifs featured in this piece and the entire collection carry great symbolism. Each tribe in Nagaland,  possesses its own unique identity and motifs that are skillfully incorporated by these weavers.
